Exploring Colors through Process Art

The children in the Orange classroom began showing an interest in mixing colors based on observations of their interest in art based invitations.  Ms. Maria and Ms. Dawn used this interest to create more invitations using different art mediums from tempura sticks to watercolor palettes.  Children worked together and individually to exploration and manipulate art materials.  This exploration supports fine motor skills, creative expression, sustained attention, cognitive processes, and sensory integration.
