Making Watercolors and Playdough

Extending their exploration of color, the Orange teachers introduced natural ingredients to create scented and dyed playdough and watercolors.  They used lavendar from the outdoor classroom, butterfly pea flowers, and lemons to make blue watercolors.  The kiddos enjoyed putting all of their ingredients together and painting with their new watercolors.  From there, they added those ingredients to create scented blue play dough.
